In ages past, Astra had roamed the forests in these pleasant lands as though they were the only creature there. The forests had been home to a different kind, then. This had been a world of those locked within, a prison between lands, a place beyond truth and part of nothing. But no more.
Astra had grown the land. They had pushed the earth beyond its limits and found sanctity and richness in her soils and treasures; it was small and beautiful wins that the god had taken pride in. But now, beyond time, it was their people who made it all worth it. And to their people they came as a flowing and magnificent beast across the starlight. This was a world that they had ensured the creation of, and within it they held power to do great and greater things beyond which none could imagine.
It is in gods we trust, and yet Astra did their
mightiest to inspire the opposite; they spun in a glorious circle through the starlight, chasing their tail and doing their very best to snap it into oblivion. There was joy as they disappeared beyond the blackness, leaving behind a series of falling stars for many hours.
