The moon hung high in the sky, a luxury to see from the eye. She sat upon a hill, near the mountains and gazed lovingly as so. A peaceful moment as it was a clear sky, and a nice breeze wisping by her silken coat. Beneath her paw was a few berries plucked before their season ends, delicious in taste and within coloring itself. She wondered, if anyone else was enjoying tonight.

He walked with little purpose, slow and steady as he took in the sights around him. It was a nice place, but not typically his style. However it is here he found himself currently so he would continue on until he learned the area a bit more. His eyes swept across the mountains, taking in the peaks and dips before a scent caught his attention. He was in a particularly nasty mood today though he didn't really have a reason for it. 

But then again, when did he need a reason to be in a foul mood? Moving much swifter than before, the man found himself walking up to a small female wolf who seemed to be enjoying the view. This would be fun. "Didn't anyone tell you it wasn't safe to wander around alone at night?" He would flash his fangs at her, pink eyes watching her every move.

The smell of another upon the wind, and the thought of a pleasant companion to join such ways. Lonely nights even her soul desired the adventure of a wayfarer, but it never could deny a time of chatter. To meet more and more was a bliss in life, and one she desired greatly. A white figure within a distance, and an ear flickering thinking perhaps one of the brothers — but his eyes betrayed her, decorated in pink and within.. Hostility.

She shrunk, realizing the one who approached wasn't someone to enjoy a company by, but someone she feared greatly. Her ears tucked to her face as she stood up, and backed away from the flashing of teeth ; one that was awfully to close then she was willing to admit, as Miriam had her guard down in thought it was a friend, not an enemy. No words of pleaing were given, but her stance and face itself was of fear, and of pleaing, to let her go.

A slow grin creeped onto his face seeing the fear that spread across her face. Good, that was what he was hoping for. However, unfortunately for her, that just made his predatory instincts kick in even more. Lowering himself to the ground, he would snarl at her, moving slowly to get a much fear across as he possibly could. He was always one to play with his kills after all. Slowly he began to circle her. 

After a few moments of trapping her and snarling, he finally would pounce, pushing off of his back legs as he moved his large body towards her. His legs were powerful and his body strong, something he prided himself in. Lowering himself, he would attempt to grip the woman by her neck, trying to use his large body to toss her on the ground if he was able to. He initially would try to grip her in a killing blow, but he would take any contact he could possibly get. 

The whole time, a sickening grin spread across his face, it was clear he was greatly enjoying this.

The soothing and once tranquil state now ceased to be — the horror she witnessed to the white beast of a feline reemerged itself into the form of a wolf. It an endless suffering of those hailing to torment Miriam, and she still knew not why the Goddess continued to torment. A priestess though eased her to a conscious she was now back to a torrent of emotions, and forgo all teachings she had received ; for survival, was the most important. 

She would run with faith, but felt his fangs upon her back end, nearly gripping her tail but managed higher. Miriam whined, and cried, like any who was within a pain. Feeling the tensity of fangs slipping, her paws slipped from behind as she toppled down in a plunder.

"Goddess, I pray to thee'," voiced crackled out through her pinning as within heart and mind numerous prayers sounded out. She was begging to the heavens itself, a guiding light to somehow safe her through this moment as the man breathed down her neck in a pinning. Large body covering her own, a dead-lock as she was left to simply lay and be caught as so. Tears, streaming down her face but never once — would she beg to end.

Only pray, and cry even more, feeling a hearing the sounds of her legs breaking.

He had finally caught her. His prey was where he wanted them, though even as they faced his fangs, they didn't plead or beg. That made him admire her for her strength, but not enough to let her go. A rather loud and aggressive snarl escape his lips as he lunged downwards towards her throat, attempting to wrap his fangs around her neck. If he were able to get purchase, he would yank with all of his might, trying to either snap her neck or rip out her jugular, whichever he was able to do first. 

He heard her pray to her god, but even that couldn't save her from his murderous tendencies. He had no real reason to kill her other than the fact that she was at the wrong place at the wrong time. It wasn't often that he had a urge to straight up murder something, but when he did, he wouldn't lose his prey.

Wrong place, wrong time. She hadn't learn to be on guard, despite so many moments where she has gotten in troublesome situations. Yet somehow always managed to get away, with the Goddess upon her side. Fate said she would live ; but living was always a good thing. Especially if it meant in the torture she would embrace, but the man ; so unknown and sinister gave such a relief of death itself instead of nights in torture and fear.

Her neck snapped, and mother has died.
