Stretch. She wasn't meaning to be up this early, but it happened. A cold morning, an early snow -- it gathered on her back as she wound her way down to the borders. A patrol at this hour seemed like it would be very quiet, if serene, and that sounded like a good usage of her time: she could make sure that the weather hadn't messed with the scents, and there probably wasn't going to be trouble. After all, who wanted to be up causing mischief at stupid-o-clock? Okay, it was a little bit after that time but not by a ton.
It was very familiar ground, any wolf with a functioning nose could tell Arbiter was a very frequent visitor to the borders. Usually she was very serious about the patrols, ready to chomp off some ears of anyone who did anything sketchy, but figuring this was such an unpopular time, she was more relaxed than usual. So instead of looking like some angry chick she maybe looked like a normal person. Instead of focusing some of her energy on her negative aura, she split it between normal patrol things and her usual interior monologue about what to do about her future. Decisions, decisions.
