Where the wind blows

Not long after their last interaction, Levi couldn't stop thinking about @Amata, a smile still on his face from that night. They were mates now and, though they were still young and many would likely say something against it, he knew what he wanted. 

It didn't take him long to find the frozen lake thing, an idea popping into his mind as he noticed a rabbit sliding across the ice. This could be a fun little thing to do with her. Ice... sliding. Perfect name!

And so, he would call for her, his body relaxed and his tail flipping behind him. Even as he stood at his full height, he looked... different. No longer was he hunching down, hackles raised as he walked and head lowered. No, his head was held high, his fur and muscles relaxed and he waited for his love to show herself.

^^It felt really fucking weird to go from being single, and not thinking about anything in the world to suddenly having a mate, and trying to think up all the ways that she could coax him into showing affection or having him verbally call her any sort of cute pet name.

And very much unlike Leviathan, Amata didn’t need to keep him in sight at all times. She was confident enough to know just how tightly she had Leviathan wrapped around her finger.

So when he called for her, Amata found him by a frozen lake, and decided that she’d go and pounce him. He was her new mate after all, which meant that she could - not that she couldn’t before or anything..

Only, Amata was really bad with math and calculating things. Like, really bad. (There were reasons why Amata wasn’t on the hunting team,) and so when she went to pounce him, she completely missed, sliding right past him and going head-first into the frozen lake.

WELP.

The man was waiting patiently, in the wide open as he half expected her to try to attack him. And so, he would prepare himself to get tackled, though what he wasn't ready for though, was for her to miss completely and go sliding out onto the ice. For a moment he was shocked before he just started laughing hysterically. 

"How did you miss?" He chuckled as he ran across the ice, finding it quite easy to keep himself up right. "Come on love, this isn't that hard." He would ski over to her, spinning around her once before he would slow himself down, aiming to use his nose to help push her up. He would offer his shoulder as a weight to help her up. 

"As much as I do enjoy watching you slip and slide like a newborn deer, I think you'll have more fun on your feet rather then your ass."

In all of his life, he had never considered himself handsome, or sexy in any way, though he was confident in other things. But, seeing her reaction to his laugh, the man really had to pause for a moment, eyebrow raised. He could swear that he saw her drooling a little, but that had to be his imagination, right? 

But what certainly wasn't his imagination was when she stood up, using his shoulder but instead of moving away, she stayed against him. Her body was pressed against his and he could damn near feel the heat coming from her. She was about as easy to read as an open picture book. 

And so, with a light smirk on his face, he would lean down slightly until his mouth was near her ear before whispering low. "You look like you're thinking a lot over there love. Care to share?" He would look down at her, with eyes that seemed more soft and loving than had ever been seen from his piercing gaze before.

^^Reading Amata was not hard to do, when Amata was struggling to make sense of this new emotion that seemed to consume her. There was a heat that rose in her cheeks, as well as traveling down the entire length of her body, until it settled uncomfortably on her stomach.

In addition, this was the second time he called her love without having to coax him. When she finally came to look at him, he was looking at her with such soft, loving eyes, and Amata whined softly, shaking her head, and burying it even deeper into his coat.

Nope, nothing to talk about here, no sir.

^^This was not a game that Amata could realistically win, and somehow, it felt like Leviathan knew it. She was putty in his paws, and he just continued being himself, which did not help, especially with his cold nose pressed against her coat.

It was one thing to poke at her, but that nose continued to sink, seeping so low, that Amata thought he might end up nosing the cold ice that they were standing on. Her ears flattened, and Amata decided that she was quite cold enough, thank you.

So she stood, attempting to stand and leave, to go somewhere else - anything, and what ended up happening? She must have moved too fast, and she couldn’t seem to get a grip on the ice; she scrambled, eventually coming to make contact with the ice - landing with her face on the ground and her rear in the air.

She whined, putting her forelegs out, over her face.

How embarrassing.
