The travel back was quiet and surprisingly pretty calm, she felt surprisingly protected as she walked with the large male. Every now and then she would glance over at @Apsephion before turning back to walk. It took her more time than a normal wolf would to walk all the way to the borders, as she made sure to go around certain parts of the mountain that could be dangerous for her and her growing children. 

Once they got to the borders thought, she would turn to look at him finally. "This is my home." She said simply before offering him a small smile. "Thank you." She spoke softly before stepping forward and aiming to nudge her head into his shoulder, a quick gesture of her appreciation.

It was a long, slow walk. But they eventually made it, as she made it evident.

Stopping, she turned to him. But she did not only thank him. As well with words, she offered a gesture; a soft nudge to his shoulder.

Frozen still, Apsephion stared blankly. Was it necessary? Probably not. But he was too stunned to do otherwise.

Unable to find words, he muscled a grunt, pushing it out rather forcefully. And without waiting for more, he turned away from the expecting woman. There was a part of him that feared staying too long, which wasn't something he wanted to do—especially when upon pack claimed grounds.

She watched him turn to leave and for a moment, she wanted to stop him, but knew that now they were on pack lands and it was probably safer for him to leave. However, that wouldn't stop her from calling out to him as he left. "Will I see you again?" She asked softly, though she expected him to either ignore her to simply say no. She didn't really know why she asked, but part of her really wanted to know, and a larger part of her hoped that she would indeed find the charcoal giant again.

Silence did not follow him, for her voice echoed from the distance he'd reached.

He did not stop, but he did not entirely ignore her. A grin cut along his expression, ears twitching. “If you're so careless enough again to walk the distance,” He called behind his shoulder. And though it should have been a humorous response, the cold tint in his tone suggested otherwise. Though, he reckoned she could differentiate his meaning by it.

She heard his words and chuckled softly, and she could have sworn she saw a grin cross his lips. "See you around, Apsephion." She said simply, a small chuckle in her voice as she turned to head deeper into the pack, but the grin on her lips remained, lingering as she thought of the mysterious man. She hoped to find him on her later travels, though she knew nothing of him except his name.
