 A hidden gem in the temperate, Nike was forewarned about the lingering rabbit population by the Harbinger, so any scrat she saw she simply ignored it...despite the soft rumbling in her stomach. While they do provide an onset of other small prey, she wasn't all a fan of following this particular logic.

  Nike found herself rummaging through different piles of found herbs. In particular, she had found a horde of coneflowers. While they weren't flowering with luscious petals, the buds and stems could be used for other medicinal properties. Quietly, she would collect them and move them to a pile, humming a soft tune with she worked.

In the days before she would meet the wolf of sunset, Shiva woke in the grove surrounded by a sea of purple.

Many—if not all—in her position would question their belonging here but this heir was born with purpose coursing through her veins and as hot as it still pumped, Shiva did not have to wonder. A God never did.

Shiva made her way around the likes of the temperate; hunting, and familiarizing herself with the land but no matter how far she wandered, she always returned to the grove. A rendezvous site, of sorts. So, imagine her surprise when she returned one morning with a small fox limp in her jaws and the sight of another wolf making herself at home in her domain. Shiva opened her jaws, letting the fox thump into an awkward heap on the earth, and spoke up, "Find what you're looking for, priya?" — dear

 Nike's soft humming came to a halt when she heard a soft 'plop' on the ground. Her body went rigid out of instinct, the roots of coneflowers dangling from her mouth as she swung her head over. A woman, the color of white and ashen with a delicate face, stood before her. Close to her. A fox, bleeding and lifeless, sat at the foot of her feet. Nike's indigo orbs glanced from it then back to her. A pleasant smile tugged at her features.

  "I did, thank you." The blonde's smile was bright, toothy. An attempt to be friendly. "Coneflower stalks— stocking up on them for my...pack." The word 'order' hung loose on her lips, but she was forewarned that not everyone thinks the same as she does. Nike's head cocked to the side as she observed this woman. Her voice felt foreign to these lands, and it almost appeared that she claimed ownership to this grove. "That's quite the catch." Nike would muse, her voice sultry and low.

  Foxes were the most common creature to be cleansed. They were easy, typically hiding in their proclaimed dens. "A good one." Nike let her eyes linger on the dead animal, a sparkle of amusement and pride twinkling, mask of pure joy slipping for a moment. A look behind her eyes. She looked back to the woman, "Do you have a name, miss?" Back to her twinkling smile, the blonde's tail wagged lightly from side to side.
