This is a highly encouraged to join meeting! Cameos are fine, this should go fast since its mostly set up for other threads, but please note if you are a cameo so we know if we can continue! Mostly announcing the trials and then sending the kids off then dismissed. Posting will come in rounds lasting roughly a week+ unless everyone replies before then.

Ira had woken early for the day. She and Hiero had agreed that it would be him who stayed with their newly birthed during the ceremony even if both wished to witness it in person. However, it made sense for her to be the one to officiate. It was her tradition and one her knight had never bore witness to before.
Unfortunately, he would miss another as he tended to their young's needs.
Standing at the Stone Watch, Ira tipped back her head to call for the pack, and more importantly her eldest, to gather before her to hear what she had to say. This day would be of no surprise to her children. She had prepared them thoroughly to partake in a challenge proving their skills as an adult. Naturally, they would still have many moons of growth before becoming true adults, but it was high time they found their place in the adult ranks.
The roan woman sat in silence as faces gathered in tandem. She would only wait long enough for her children to gather. If others arrived late so be it, they were not forced to witness the youths' ascension, but it certainly made for more of a spectacle with a proper audience. Ira gestured for her brood to come forward and stand before her. Each had grown so much even if they had not fully filled out, and it brought a smile to her lips to see them stand here before her today.
“You all have been called to bear witness as Vanderfell's youth claim that which is rightfully theirs. Moons have passed and now the time has come for these young wolves to find their place within the pack. Their interests have already been confirmed.” Pausing, she looked to each with a nod as she eventually named them and their starting path, “Dagr and Ries, our wandering paws and soon the eyes and ears of the pack. You are to venture to the Pass and retrieve a pelt left in the heart of the stones. Bear in mind, that this land now belongs to our allies. Speak with their leaders and gain their favor to search within their claim.”
All things considered, it would be a short trip, but one that would teach them the importance of manners and politics while testing their distance and search abilities. “Rea and Renn, you have taken interest in the wonders of this world. There is much the world can tell us even without words. In Ullarcraig there is a fallen tree beside the river. Investigate it and find the reason it has fallen.” Idly she wondered if her wayward daughter would complain about the given task or insist it was not nearly exciting enough, but certain signs no matter how small could benefit the pack.
“Lastly, Cleo. Our future guardian. I pray no explanation is needed for such a role. You are to retrieve the fresh elk buried in Ullarcraig Run and bring it here to our summit. This may sound simple, but you may find it weighs more than you think.” Of course such a task was near impossible for someone her age, but that was where the true challenge came. If she wished to protect the pack she would need to do more than just muscle her way through. A simple answer would be to portion the meat and make separate trips, but something told her Cleo may find her own way.
“If there are no questions then I bid you all safe travels and the gods' glory. Upon your return, we shall feast in celebration of the men and women you have become.”
