A sea of black drowned the night sky, and romanticised stars winked at those beneath who searched them. Until a spectacle, so mesmerizing, slowly enhanced the night skies' beauty.

There was nothing that could hinder the spectator's view of the meteor showers, as they slowly drew hypnotic streamline patterns across the dark canvas above.

And they all dove. Dancing and dwindling together. 

But one.

Its descent, beckoned by gravity below, gave the star-born child an emphasizing display of her birth. Plummeting quickly, the meteorite grew in confidence, gathering momentum, and a blazing heat encompassed its surface as a result of this.

But when it hit the ground, there was no shudder. No crevice, nor cracks to be found. No blemishes to defect earth's beauty. 

And laid amongst the dust and particles of the fragmented meteor, was she. 

A groan came from her first, moving slowly as though every muscle in her body were unbearable to use. Trying to sit up, her eyes were still closed and sealed tightly.

'My fucking head'

She felt like a colossal train wreck. Wincing as she tried to move some more. Until the show of a gentleman's hand at her side and voice, enticed her eyes to finally blink open. Once, twice...

'Well aren't you the sweetest?', her voice normally as smooth as his own, was slightly raspy as though her throat was starved of hydration.

Vivid pastel eyes as cold as her heart fluttered up at the stranger. Her whole demeanour already leant into his hospitality and aid.

She felt her weight shift, a motion that caused every strand of fibre in her muscles to become rigid, in retaliation to the soreness. She winced when she was settled in her seat. Her eyes never ceased from the bicoloured male.

Remember what exactly?

An ignition of humour sparkled in her eyes, 'Of my sky-diving experience?', she mocked, though karma snapped at her ridicule as it hurt to snort/laugh, voicing her pain with a sharp intake of breath. 'I wouldn't recommend it if you were thinking of taking up a new hobby, handsome'.

Her creator failed to leak any memories into her mind as she took to her plummet, and she quickly gazed up to the stars whence she soared from. 'Sagittarius', she lied fluidly, easily, and the same liquor dripped from her tongue as she looked back to Madmortigan, 'But you can call me Arius', in reality, she knew not of her name or anything else. 

Languidly, she then began to roll her neck circularly, to unbind the tension that had begun to set in from her heavy cascade, groaning as she did so.

Rolling her neck, she listened to her saviour, and he made little sense.

'Who?', she was idle in a question, still concentrating more on ridding the tenderness that swarmed her whole being now, every passing second getting worst from her sudden birth.

She knew not of her existence, of her history. And even less so of this Wolf nor Labyrinthian, yet took involuntary notes. She may not remember her origins, but certainly remembers her sly tactics and selfish traits.

Her efforts were in vain. What was the point in rolling her neck and moving her muscles, when everything would oppose and seize up indefinitely within the next day or so? And Arius paused when Madmortigan aired an opinion that she would concur with immediately.

She stopped what she was doing and quickly looked at him with a solid glance that spoke of her engrossment and bode her time searching to lock with his own flawless eyes. And when she did, an egotistical smile crept along the seems of her pretty lips. 'Oh, isn't it just?', she couldn't agree more. 

But then he carried on and a smitten look brushed over her features, slowly blinking and smiling before asking him, 'What's your name?'. She was suddenly very interested in the flatterer who had a mutual vision as she did of herself.

He was charming, and he became more alluring to her still when he enlarged himself with an introduction. The thrumming of her head and aches now dispersed when his smile reached her eyes. She looked at his lips as he gave her his name. 'Madmortigan', she purred, repeating his name to herself. 

With his offer, and himself, it was hard to refuse such a platter. And she hummed pensively, but all the while addressing his lips. 'Then I shall'.

For now, she thought. Though it sure wouldn't hurt so long as her saviour was around.
