The calm woman moved through the area, sniffing the air as she went. The land was new to her but it wasn't new in a bad way. She slowly grew to enjoy the mountains, something she never thought she would like. She always preferred open plains rather then closed mountains, but this wasn't too bad. The sights were amazing and the prey was pretty decent too.

Almost on cue, her stomach growled, reminding her the real reason she came out here. For food. Sniffing the air, she finally caught the scent of a deer, something she was used to and familiar with. Unlike her idiot brother, she didn't particularly like hunting on her own, but she would do it. Thankfully though, she spotted a fawn wandering far from its mother. Perfect.

Stalking closer, she waited until she was as far as she could get without startling them before rushing forward, running down the scared fawn before its parents even knew what was happening. Laying there for a moment with the fawn in her mouth, she would watch as the herd ran off, wanting to get as far away from the predator as possible.

It was a far stretch from the tundras wilderness that he know wandered. First he'd traversed a mountain range and now he was scaling the moving hills in search of his next meal. Each step had to be carefully placed with is bearlike appearance, the stalking male low to the ground as his sights focused in on a doe. Her herd had just ran, and from the smell of it, blood had just been shed. However, this girl decided to pause and look back, a mistake even the most naive couldn't make. There was some emotional tie to the scene behind her, not that he could comprehend it - nor wanted to.

Tyr didn't make a habit of giving his future stomach contents a life story in his head. He had one thing on his mind and that was taking down the young doe. The behemoth began his creeping steps, remaining downwind from his precious target. It was one she wouldn't expect, coming from the direction she originally ran in and now had turned her back freshly on. The perfect set up. His eyes watched her carefully, studying the body for weakness. Anything he could use to take her down quicker. Not that he could spot one but she did seem to favour a front leg, lifting it slightly from the ground beneath.

He hadn't seen her lame before but this was an area that one had to watch where they stepped. You could easily twist or break an ankle on this terrain. It was something that the bear of a man couldn't stand. Nothing was ever straight forward about it. He didn't have time to think and simply lunged, thankfully leading to a successful take down as he latched onto the precious neck after a couple of wild bucks and muffled squeals. He pull the doe to the ground before standing on her shoulder and nose, the grip on her throat maintained until silence fell and her chest stopped rising.

It was only then that he looked up, a wild look in his eyes that fell upon a she-wolf. He paused for a moment before releasing his rest kill, the blood on his maw soaking the lightened tint, dripping from it until he finally swiped the lips with his fleshy tongue. Not once did he speak, but simply stared, his stance heavily set as he stood above his kill, head horizontal with his back. Protective - possessive. This was his until he said otherwise. He would not take a challenge light heartedly.

She was content where she was, having her fresh kill under her. Typically she didn't go after the young, she wanted them to be able to grow up and at least enjoy a little bit of life before their world came to an end for her sustenance. But, she wasn't going to be the one to turn down an easy meal, especially when she was alone. Last thing she needed was to get injured and then be lost in the woods. Surely the scent of blood would attract more wolves or worse.

Lowering down, she began to eat, savoring her kill with each bite. The blood tinted her jaws but she would, every now and then, lick her maw clean. She did care about her appearance after all. Her ears pricked as she listened to the sound of running hooves, knowing that the herd was running in the opposite direction. Which was the smartest move considering she had just come out of no where and picked off one of their children. However, it wasn't until she caught the fresh scent of blood coming from a carcass that wasn't hers that her interest spiked.

Lifting her head from her kill, she looked around, eyes and ears scanning her surroundings before finally landing on the dark, rather brooding, man in the distance. It seemed he had taken advantage of her distraction to claim a meal for himself. As she licked the blood off of her chin, she would chuckle softly to herself, brown eyes watching the man's body language. "You can calm yourself handsome, I have my own, I no reason to take your kill."

She leaned her head down to lick the blood off of her paws, her ears still listening out for his movements. "Is there a reason you're staring at me or do you just find me that attractive?" Her eyes sparkled with mischievousness, always loving to mess with men and gauge their reaction.

He continued to loom over the carcass even as she responded with such lightheartedness in her response, though Tyr did resort to simply placing a paw upon the creature and lowering his haunches to the rocky floor. Her remarks were interesting, and funny. She seemed like someone who had not a care in the world as she lay feast upon the fawn within her grasp. The mouth she possessed and of course the beauty. Even beggars can't be choosers and Tyr didn't have high standards as long as his loins were emptied, but she was pretty enough to his eye.

Such a retort pulled a laugh from deep within his chest and a smirk pulled coyly at his lips flashing his now crimson tainted teeth.

"What of it, can I not appreciate the gods gifts that they lay before me?" he barked, flashing his canines dangerously, "It would be rude not too," the behemoth teetered with an utterance.

Now, the freckled man would not claim himself to be a charmer aloud, but his ego was enough to think he was. She was no Freya but this pretty she-wolf would be fun to exchange such playful remarks with. And of course, this meal they shared on each side of the arena, it would be a nice ice breaker for now until the proper battle began.

Eyes never moved from him, a soft chuckle on her lips even as he flashed his fangs at her. "Maybe I'm just curious if your interest if your appreciation goes past your eyes." She raised an eyebrow as she spoke, licking the blood off of her sharp canines slowly and methodically.

The woman watched him from a distance, her eyes scanning him up and down with a suggestive glint in her eye. Slowly, she would continue eating, her eyes never leaving him even as the blood dribbled down her chin. Her tail switched behind her as she would chuckle softly at him, pausing part way through her meal to give a very long and suggestive stretch, turning herself around and flipping her tail up as she sat herself back down to continue her meal.

Now her back was towards him, a silent invitation whenever he wanted. However, it was clear that even with her back towards him, she was paying attention to him, ears pushed back to listen to every sound that came from him. She knew that doing this would either go the way she wanted, or turn back for her, but she was curious to see how he reacted to it.
