I know you're thinking

 It was time for a bit of spring cleaning. He’d gotten back early the previous night and now was tidying up his den. Vengeance’s rat hoard were good for a lot of things but they certainly didn’t know the standards of how he liked to keep his small cave. Things had fallen down and some of his flowers for decoration had gotten mixed up with his set that he used for healing. He “tsked” to himself while he went about, putting everything back into proper places.

 He hummed a jaunty little cleaning tune to himself while he tidied and organized. A few times he would flash out into the outside world to discard of an old flower that was far past its expiration date, another time he’d kick out a trampled feather, and once he’d even kicked out an old woven grass bracelet that was expired. Fur worked much better for these types of things and now he even admired one of his pieces of handiwork. A fox had been slain on their lands and he’d taken it upon himself to use some of the rich red furs to craft a large bracelet. He quite liked it but it was too large for himself so after a little bit of dusting, he placed up on display with a couple of other bracelets. All for the citizens of Nightwalkers if they ever so wanted one. The warmongers didn’t often want things though but he was here if they ever did.

 So busy was he that he didn't notice when another creature showed up. Why should he be concerned with predators when he lived amongst them? When Vengeance promised to rip the heads off anyone who would harm such a useful creature as he? That was the thing. Always stay useful. Never outlive your usefulness. Words to live by, ones that he kept close to his heart. 

 "What's this?" He turned his head, looking over his shoulder at the brown wolf pup. He'd never seen her before... Hmm, must be a newcomer although she smelled similarly to the boss. Looked like him too. Kin of his? One of his pups? Maybe. If that was the case, he should play it nice and cool. One never knew who they were entertaining and what words may reach the ears of the higher-ups. Her judgmental tone could be ignored. More flies with honey and all that. 

 The rat looked to what she was indicating amongst his wares and saw the bracelet he'd been working on. He grinned and answered, "Why, it's a bracelet, young miss. You wear it and it looks nice!" An item purely for vanity but who didn't like to look cool every now and again? Bones were more fitting for the warlord but maybe the fox-fur would be good for her. 

 He bounded over to the item, picked it up and hopped on over to her. He held it up for her to inspect if she so wished. "Do you want to try it? It goes on one of your legs!" He was the epitome of polite and patient as he looked up at her with bright pink eyes.

 He shook his head "no" when she asked if it did anything else. For him, maybe it'd be good for trading for other things but he'd seen no other merchants here, thus far. Maybe in the future there would be others he could trade with.

 He grinned at her conclusion, "One wolf's trash is another's treasure. Some place high value in things that can make them look pretty," He gave a pause and then winked, "Or powerful." He had things for that too if she wanted to give the illusion of power. Skulls, bones, all sorts of fun little things.

 Speaking of...

 He tapped his chin with a clawed forepaw. "Weelll... Do bones count? I have some of those lying around." Some of the bigger sort that were gifted to him. "And I've got some berries and things. You wolves eat things like that, right?" He didn't know if it was a favored food, but he had some lying around for dyes as well as for snacks.

 The rat had moved on to the topic of food and thus was surprised when the girl circled the conversation back around to wearables. Granted, he wasn’t upset by this. Too few wolves in the Nightwalkers pack liked to accessorize and he was full to the brim with amazing items. He even snuck some of the bones on Vengeance sometimes before they eventually fell out.

 When she gestured to an item, he bounded over and peered at it. An elk antler, someone had brought it by for him from one of their kills. ”An interesting choice.” He said with a nod. ”Good taste.” He looked at the antler and then up at the she-pup, walking around her and peering at her neck and then her paws. ”If you could help me to break some pieces off, I could make you a necklace and some bracelets. If you’d like.” He could gnaw through the thing, sure, but since she was bigger she’d probably be able to do it faster. ”Probably could finish by the end of the day.” He said, scratching his chin in thought. He was already plotting everything out in his head. The logistics, materials. All of which he had here.

 I know. Some might have been annoyed by the pompous attitude but to Err, it was amusing. She was not unlike Vengeance in the confidence department and, hmm, now that he looked at her he could see some certain similarities. Especially around the eyes and the fur color...

 She didn't seem opposed to helping him out and he wasn't about to say anything to make her take back the freely given aid. Instead he rant over to the elk antler and began to eye it. He went to one side, then the other, he began to touch it and run his little paws along it. Then, he used his tail to paint invisible marks where he wanted it broken. "Here in these spots so we can have all of the points." He marked the spots that would give them the pointy ends of the tines, where there was enough to show off on jewelry but not so much that she might be injured on them. "There are six tines total and we can have a necklace where you have four of those pointy bits. The last two we can make matching paw bracelets. I'm thinking we might even be able to rig your necklace in a way that someone going for your throat might get poked." Pretty and dangerous. Although he was certain that she'd be in after rough fighting to have the thing repaired. So, an easily come by material to craft the "chain" was a necessity. Perhaps fur of some sort. He turned to her with a smile. "What do you think of that?" He thought it was a fantastic idea himself.

 "Totally" He took that as an enthusiastic "yes". Deciding to go with his idea of a sort of "spiked" necklace befitting of one within the Nightwalkers ranks. The pup set to work with breaking off bits of the antler for him, getting it done much faster than he could have ever dreamed by himself. In the end, he had the pieces of antler and he walked up to pick up one of the pieces, turning it upside down to inspect the gnawed on ends. "I'll work on getting these smoothed out so they don't prick you, then I'll need to craft the part that will connect all of these pieces together." He nodded to himself then worked on gathering up all of the antler points.

 "Come back tonight, I'll have all of this done for you! Unless you'd like to watch while I craft it." Then he paused, antler piece held in two paws while he looked back at her. "What's your name then, young miss?"

 It seemed as if he would be working alone without an audience, that was perfectly fine. He could concentrate without having to converse with someone. "Of course, I wouldn't dream of forgetting, little miss." He said with a tiny squeaking laugh. Polite... as always. He would never show any other side of himself to those that could kill him in an instant, not to those that fed him. 

 And so, he would begin work on her jewelry. It was nice that he had another healer around, he could focus on this while directing any medical related queries to Mystery.
