The tide of the land was beginning to shift with time. Sindri could feel it on the seaside breeze as she retreated from her home and into the open rolling hills of the Moors. This landscape once of brown and golden grasses now held a new bloom, the grass green and fresh and the beginnings of tiny purple-pink blooms started to sprout from the earth.
Sindri smiled upon it. Not only was the Alpine Moors an easy passage between the north and the south (much as the evergreen forest was to the east) which would bring travelers but it was also a plentiful place for grazers, rabbit and other small rodents. Though there was plenty of hunting opportunities along the coast and within the mountains, such game was for expects in their trade. It wasn't easy navigating the cliffside or withstanding the coastal tides.
Along the outskirts of her home at the eastern border, Sindri was not far out from the forest which lined there. No herds had wandered under the safety of the forest this day but she was hopefully of a prize all the same. She trotted along the hillside, up and down the slopes, her bright yellow eyes searching...
