Finnegan, now feeling remorse and regret, placing blame for her words upon herself after lashing out to @Wake. Thoughts rushed through her head, god what would her parents think of her now? She never wanted to hurt anyone, she just wanted to be.. someone, she wanted to be seen. Bored out of her mind, and possibly hysteric, she laid on her back next to a stone wall, dreaming up a story.
"On the enchanting island of Saltwoods, there was a clever and elusive fox named Finnegan. Despite her graceful demeanor and vibrant red fur, Finnegan had always found herself treated as an outsider, an untouchable in the animal kingdom. The other woodland creatures, from squirrels to rabbits, would often cast disdainful glances and whisper hurtful words behind her back.
Day after day, Finnegan would navigate the forest, feeling the weight of being mistreated and marginalized by her peers. She moved through the underbrush like a shadow, trying to blend in and shield herself from further pain. But deep within her, a tumultuous mix of anger, hurt, and a longing to be acknowledged churned like a tempest.
Over time, Finnegan's frustration grew stronger. She learned to build an emotional fortress around herself, keeping her true thoughts and feelings hidden behind a mask of indifference. Behind her sly smile and playful antics, she concealed a well of resentment, guarding her vulnerabilities with utmost care.
Yet, the burden became overwhelming, and Finnegan found herself succumbing to the temptation of lashing out with words. In moments of heated encounters, she unleashed the sharpness of her tongue, allowing her pent-up emotions to spill out like venom. In those fleeting moments, she felt a distorted sense of power, as if her words could finally bridge the gap between her and the others.
But the aftermath of her outbursts weighed heavily on Finnegan's conscience. She would retreat to the safety of her den and replay the scenes in her mind, tormented by the hurt expressions on the faces of those she had targeted. The brief satisfaction she had experienced morphed into remorse, amplifying her own pain."
This story was for her to fill in once she fulfilled whatever her purpose was, almost a form of therapy, an obituary for herself.
