As she spoke to @Absinthe about the concerns, Vendrussel was more determined. In the beginning it could be said she was a lackluster leader, days went out and exploration to a wanderlust, until it all came to head where she foolishly continued that rush ; and aimed to further prove her worth.. Unforgivable actions that continue to haunt, a daunting effect where a wisdom and shackling of a crown pertained and now she dwelved further of how to keep those around her, within peace and survival.

She would need to send some individuals out to scout beyond, to find somewhere that was safe in the due-time if a typhoon overcame the land. When she thought of it, there was two individuals at the moment she thought would do well, one whom she trusted, and another who needed to gain that trust.

"I'd like you two to scout for surrounding lands. If a day came where the isle is to be flooded, we should arrange a land that can momentarily sustain us until our return to it. I would like to prepare.. And if so, give you two the task."

Finding himself called to a meeting, Jun knew by the cool scent of the sharpened sea that this would be important. Surprised he was, indeed, to see that someone else had been invited to his momentary paradise with the Mother of Dragons herself, but he'd pay no mind to the younger one. Jun hadn't the faintest clue as to why she continued to pester and folly with these children— it was a tender reminder of what he couldn't have in his own life. 

Something sour bloomed in his throat, but he'd merely swallow it. Butchering back his true feelings. Vendrussel spoke something, harsh and methodic, briefing them on the possibility of a typhoon. Jun's brow would raise equivocally, "Typhoon?" Jun would reiterate with bewilderment. "진심이야?" — You're serious? His remarks were guttural and honest. Straight from his heart.

Jun would glance to the child, then a warming glance towards Vendrussel. He'd scoff. "When do we leave?" We. That was such a loose term that he held on the end of a thread.

"Worry not, as far as the weather shows, not any time soon." She would assure the man, smiling lightly in faint of heart that it was nothing serious, but more of a move she thought was needed, "but i'd like to prepare if it happened to come. It never hurts to be prepared for an appropriate place to move." She would look at the sky, gloomy that it was above.. Gray clouds overcasted to them, but no signs of a glittering rain or even anything else. The sea sounded quiet, as the waves came and went in a gentle breeze.

"I wish to send two, for more eyes to expand outwards. Somewhere close enough where it isn't more then a day of travel, but far enough where the sea won't affect." The task itself though sounded easy, was not. Especially due to the factor of so many packs around them ; just the idea of finding a land unclaimed was a hard one. Vendrussel did trust Jun to do so, but hoped that Saxa.. Could prove to be some of use. The girl came in not the best means, difficult as she was, but desperate for survival and a home. She wanted to see if this vulpine could pull her weight as a member.

She had been called, causing her to groan slightly. She figured that the leader had called her to say something to her, something she really didn't feel like dealing with. However, she noticed she wasn't the only one called, causing her to relax slightly. Good, so she wasn't entirely in trouble. Staying quiet, she would listen to what Ven had to say, nodding slightly. Turning to look at the other wolf, she watched him closely. She already didn't trust wolves and, as far as she knew, this was some elaborate plot to get her killed. But, Ven had been nice enough to her all this time, so she had to give them the benefit of the doubt. But, if those teeth came anywhere near her, she would make him regret it. "So you're Jun, correct?" She had listened to several other wolves talking, catching names and trying her best to put them on faces.
