The air was chill tonight.. A stillness hung in the forest where she could only hear the wind, and the soft sounds of trickling water alongside of the cove. The night had settled, by instead of seeing the usual moon that matched the whites of her eyes, she saw a different scene ahead. Standing upon a boulder, Miriam looked up and stayed eternally locked onto what was above ; for the sky was dyed within the dip of red, just the moon, that it was brushed in both a beauty and ominous sign.
Was it a good, or bad sign? The beauty of one drenched in red, but the red was as deep as the blood of anything living. Miriam closed her eyes for a moment, a silent prayer to the Goddess on the questioning of what so did mean. She thought nothing was but a true coincidence in such life, the knots of fate tied one or another, but there was so many paths that could take, that none was sure what was the true path. 'Coincidences' formed from destiny, and the fate that was given from the heavens above. When she opened her eyes, a breeze brushed by, but the scene above remained the same..
