It had been a week since her milk blue eyes had made an appearance, though sadly it have been only one for a few day before the other had joined the invitation to the world of sight. It was a strange sensation, the ability to both see and hear the world around her. Unlike most of her siblings she had remined practically silent, not really voicing her discomfort or even much sound when a playful altercation broke out. The silent child reveled in this new sensation though, the ability to see just how different she and her siblings were. The colors, from the palest of tan that matched their mother to a darker color that matched closer to her own paws.

Nestled between two of her siblings she simply stared at her dark toes, wiggling them to and Fro before she finally made up her mind. The pup inched her little body away from those that still clung to the land of dreams and tried to place her paws beneath her, slowly she tested her own weight on toes so inexperienced in taking pressure. One after another, she got all of her legs under her before lifting suddenly.

And without ceremony or grace, her face hit the floor.. well that went better than expected.

Words and sounds and sights aren't really coming to Ragnhildr easily. He seems content to simply let the world exist, drinking milk and mouthing his siblings. Some could even say his development is delayed; some kids do take time, and Ragnhildr isn't going to be the first one to do anything except for bite.

When Elysia tries to stand, Ragnhildr is dead asleep. But the falling wakes Ragnhildr up. Blue eyes stare straight at his sister, then he reaches out to mouth her leg. He's not going to bite down, but could that be a way of communicating. What? He's not really sure.

Peacefully, longingly, Ragnar watched the large litter of daughters (and one son) which had been delivered to him by @Freya. There was a pure happiness in Ragnar that had been somewhat lacking for a time now- a simple happiness. The golden king had not been within his own packland this much since its early founding, when it had needed constant watch of intruders. This litter, too, was the very first of children he had sired within this new world that he could call his.

One of the little ones, the first to do such as he was aware, lifted up onto wobbly limbs. She was standing! Yet far too quickly landed onto her face before any other could be of witness. Some of the others stirred, only seeming irritated with the commotion but Ragnar himself could not help but woof lowly in cheer as his tail thumped the ground behind him.

When one child gathered onto her paws for the first time, Hvitserk took no notice. He was flat out on his side, snoozing with soft little snores and totally dead to the world even when Elysia's weak legs gave way beneath her. Some of his littermates were roused and their movement jostled him, but he merely snorted and continued to sleep.

Skathi had also found her feet—but in a much different way than Elysia had. She held her paw in her mouth and gnawed it. Although it felt weird—kind of like when her siblings slobbered on her—she was still curious to see if the further investigation would bring about any discoveries. She gummed mindlessly as she looked down and watched as her drool began to creep down her forearm.

With an almost graceful shake of her little head she righted herself, paws beneath her just as one of her pale colored siblings gave her leg a soft mouth as if to say what? She was not sure but she took it as encouragement just as a sound reached her ears, a rather low woof that could only be from the golden man that seemed to be always constant in her life. Her baby blues moved from the sibling that had a soft gril on her leg to him, her tail giving a quick wave of happiness.

The dark girl gave her pale sibling a lick on their head, right between the ears if her aim was true as she tried to stand once more. The shaking limbs here stubborn, not truly wanting to hold her weight as she almost collapsed again. Maybe it was the mouth on her that held her steady, maybe it was just luck but somehow she remained standing. A triumph look in those bright blue eyes as she looked around at her siblings in various states before looking for confirmation from the man at the entrance of her home

Ragnhildr takes the kiss gratefully, then pulls his mouth back to let her stand again. She manages better this time, and his little tail wiggles in excitement. It does not occur to him that he could try the same thing. As far as he cares, he is just a potato with a mouth. He offers a squeak of positivity. She did it! She's so smart!

Having so many siblings was awful sometimes. Hvitserk, eager to nap, did try to snooze - buy the energy within the whelping den had changed. All around him sisters were awake and being obnoxious, jostling him and preventing him from reaching the stages of deep sleep that his body craved.

He groaned loudly, and lifted his head to glare at those closest to him. Nobody seemed to take notice of his frustration, however, so he curled his lip to reveal miniscule milk teeth then scooted off in search of a more secluded area of the hollow.
