One day, Celnes took a stroll near the stream and bent to quench a thirst. Although closer she got, she noticed it smelled foul, and nearby was the gathering of deceased fish that waved between the grasses, unable to leave, unable to sink ; floated, in death and the flies picking at it, and the fish that were alive, nibbling gently so. She lifted her head, in a bit of a disgust, before her eyes caught sight of an eye swimming down river.
Was there something wrong with the water? Celnes travelled upstream, but it seemed no matter where she travelled it smelled rancid, and the wandering of flesh was dripping down with the occasional rare maggot ; like something died in it.

The water is infected by Tavra! Majority if not all the streams are maggot infested and poison, and will continue for a few days.
